Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences
- Industry/Institutional Management
- Risk Management
We're always in the field and aiding our community. We like to roll up our sleeves and literally get down into the dirt. Like when we discover abandoned mines in the Mahoning Valley, or find ways to improve our local water quality.
Advance your career through our Environmental Studies Certificate's program and develop your expertise in an interdisciplinary field. You'll take a combination of courses that will prepare you for a leadership role in environmental science or management. The graduate certificate can be earned in 15 credit hours of courses with two tracks to choose from: Industry/Institutional Management or Risk Management.
