Department of Biology
The Department of Biology is committed to the study of living organisms through teaching, research, and public service. Biology is the study of living organisms at all levels. Because of the complexity and amazing diversity of living organisms, biology is divided into a number of disciplines. The Biology Degree at Tennessee Tech provides students with general courses needed to understand the basic concepts and principles on which these disciplines are based, as well as advanced coursework in a wide variety of these disciplines.
