Department of Earth & Environmental Science
Understanding the Earth processes is of utmost importance in the modern world. We offer curricula in environmental sciences, environmental earth sciences, earth engineering and environmental sustainability and prepare our students for successful and rewarding careers or graduate studies.
Our faculty have strengths in water, soil and air pollution and cutting edge techniques to study them. Research and education emphasizes practical applications, especially in the field. The program uniquely includes a field research station to facilitate research and education.
For MS program, applicants should have undergraduate degrees in chemistry, biology, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental science, or related fields, and have a minimum of one year of college chemistry, and mathematics through calculus.
