Department of Geoscience
The program leading to the degree of Master of Science in Hydrologic Sciences requires completion of a core curriculum in the hydrologic sciences, elective courses chosen to meet student goals, and original research that culminates in a publicly defended thesis. The emphasis is on the scientific principles governing the movement of water and water-borne material through natural systems, the interaction of water with geological and biological systems, and tools to quantify and predict those movements and interactions.
