The MS in environmental and resource management degree provides students with a background in the sciences, engineering, environmental science, natural resource management, environmental health and safety, or other affiliated areas with the regulatory and technical background to mitigate the environmental impact of industrial sources of pollution, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and manage and preserve natural ecosystems. The curriculum focuses on areas such as environmental law, air pollution, soil and groundwater contamination, environmental toxicology, hazardous waste management, natural resources, worker health and safety, and international environmental laws and policies. Classes in the master’s degree program are available in both face-to-face and online formats.
