The MS in Biology has optional concentrations in molecular biology, physiology, and ecology, evolution, conservation biology.
The degree can prepare you for entrance into professional schools in the health sciences (medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry and veterinary medicine) and for research doctoral programs. Graduates also acquire the tools and skills for successful careers in biotechnology, public health and environmental and patent law. For secondary school biology teachers, the graduate program fulfills the requirements of certain tracks for professional certification and expands their knowledge base.
